GPCR

GPCR (G-protein coupled receptor) is an important protein in cell signaling, and its topological conformation is a 7-pass transmembrane receptor. When an extramembranous ligand acts on the receptor, the intramembrane portion of the receptor binds to the G protein to activate the G protein, thereby initiating different signal transduction pathways and causing various biological effects. Construction of a stable cell line overexpressing GPCR can be widely used to screen drugs and study the etiology and pathogenesis of various diseases.
