DescriptionCDK4, cyclin dependent kinase 4, is a critical regulator of the G1-S cell-cycle transition, inhibits cell senescence and apoptosis (PMID: 24089445) and is also a tumor antigen recognized by T-cells in melanoma (PMID: 29403496). CDK4 dysregulation promotes tumorgenesis in a variety of cancer types (PMID: 24795392) and amplification is common in liposarcoma (PMID: 23569315) and uterine sarcoma (PMID: 32156473).
